Description

This DIY candle-making kit is designed for beginners and makes 3 of your own beautiful candles in chevron-patterned jars.
The kit can be customised by choosing the jar colour and fragrance from the available options. We use fragrance oils that are made in Australia and vegan-friendly.  The wax included in the kit is natural soy wax.
The packaging and containers are recyclable, reusable or compostable.
The kit includes:
*450g soy wax
*glass candle jars and wicks
*30ml fragrance in an amber glass bottle 
*wicks and sticky dots
*wooden wick holders
*warning label stickers
*easy to follow step-by-step instructions

*Thermometer (digital is the easiest to work with)
*Weighing scales
*Double boiler
*Jug for melting wax

Shipping Policy

We process all orders within 1-4 business days using Sendle or Australia Post.  Delivery usually takes around 5-7 business days (around 3 weeks to WA), however, additional delays may occur due to weather events or delivery chain issues.  Please ensure that you check the tracking details provided for updates on your order.  

Kits are packed in a sturdy cardboard box and sent in a compostable mailer.  The contents of the kits are packed in tissue paper and eco-friendly bubble wrap.

Refund Policy

As our products are handcrafted and made to order, we do not accept refunds for change of mind purchases. We are also unable to accept returns for items once they have been used. Postage is non-refundable.

However, if there is an issue with your order or the contents of your kit arrives damaged, please let us know immediately so that we can arrange replacement.

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

Our returns policy is based on the Australian Consumer Law.

As our products are handcrafted and made to order, we do not accept refunds for change of mind purchases. We are also unable to accept returns for items once they have been used. Postage is non-refundable.

If you would like to exchange your purchase for another item in our shop, please get in touch with us. Return postage would be at the buyer's expense. We recommend that you send any items back to us using traceable delivery. Harakeke Candles will not be liable for any loss of items being returned.

If your item is faulty or arrives damaged, please email harakekecandles@outlook.com.au within 10 business days of delivery and include photos and description of the issue. We will contact you to arrange a solution which may involve a replacement or refund at our discretion depending on the circumstances.
